Missouri's two-bedroom FMR sits at $888 across 116 counties, more counties than almost any other state on this site. Caldwell County, inside the Kansas City metro, tops the list at $1,358. Wright County comes in lowest at $888, which is exactly the state median. Kansas City and St. Louis each anchor eight counties under a shared metro rate, so sixteen of Missouri's 116 counties are pricing off just two numbers. Don't stop at the county rate if you're in one of those metros, though. Clay County's ZIP-level Small Area FMRs go from $1,090 to $2,040, and Jackson County, home to most of Kansas City, spans $1,050 to $2,000. Outside the two big metros, you can expect the county rate to hold steady.
