PropMetrics + your AI
Connect PropMetrics to ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, or any app that supports MCP, and chat about real properties. Rent estimates, listings, market data, all in plain English.
Free to try. Uses your monthly PropMetrics searches, same as the website.
Copy your connection URL.
One URL works everywhere. It's the same for every app below.
Paste it into your app.
Claude
Settings → Connectors → Add custom connector. Name it PropMetrics.co, paste the URL, click Add.

ChatGPT
Settings → Connectors → Advanced → turn on Developer mode, then Create and paste the URL. Needs a paid plan (Plus, Pro, Team, Enterprise, or Edu).
Perplexity
Settings → Connectors → Add custom connector → Remote. Paste the URL, leave auth on OAuth, and save. Custom connectors need a paid plan.
Grok
Go to grok.com/connectors → New Connector → Custom. Paste the URL and complete the sign-in when prompted.
Cursor, VS Code, Windsurf & other MCP apps
Add a custom MCP server (sometimes under Integrations or Tools) and paste the URL. Your browser opens to sign in, then tools show up automatically.
Sign in with Google.
Your browser opens the PropMetrics approval screen. Approve it, and that's it — start a chat and try one of the prompts above.
Yes, you can try it on the free plan. Chat lookups use the same monthly search count as the website, so on the free plan you'll get a handful before you hit the limit. Upgrade for more. Saving properties and looking up Fair Market Rent are always free.
Claude, ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Grok all support custom connectors — the same URL works in each. So do developer tools like Cursor, VS Code, Windsurf, Cline, and Goose. If an app lets you add a custom MCP server, it'll work here. Note that ChatGPT and Perplexity keep custom connectors on their paid plans.
In Claude, open the tools menu near the message box (the sliders icon) and make sure PropMetrics is toggled on for that chat. If it still doesn't appear, remove the connector and add it again — that refreshes the app's cached copy of the tool list.
